I'm 31 years old and have been battling cystic acne and whiteheads for the past year. Even the Tretinoin/Clindamycin combo prescribed by my dermatologist didn't eliminate it. I had high hopes for this cleanser, and it delivered! After three weeks, I have no actives and my overall skin texture is SO much smoother. I've found my new forever cleanser! >3
I actually was a patient of Dr. Ciraldo about 25 years ago which was during my teenage years when I had pretty bad acne. I have been using this product since this came out and it’s gone through various packaging rebrands, but the quality of the product has stayed the same which is a plus in my book. This leaves my skin clean and fresh, and using this along with the micro peel peptide pads has basically let me stop my topical medication fo Benzaclin as long as you follow the directions! I feel that out of all the face washes I have used, it’s been the best in preventing and treating acne prone skin.
This cleanser really works. It does a great job clearing blackheads and fighting off acne. My only concern is that the packaging might not be BPA/BPS-Free. It’s known that #7 plastics have the potential to be the most toxic. It is possible they are likely to leach contaminants into the product and are more difficult to recycle. Please use better packaging in the future.
Hi Ally, we thank you for your feedback. Our cleanser bottles are made from a combination of BPA/BPS-free plastics – PP (polypropylene), EVOH (ethylene vinyl alcohol) and PE (polyethylene) – making them fully recyclable.
I didn’t realize until i read the bottle today that this item is bad for rosacea- I can’t use it! Thanks for letting me know if there’s something else from your product line that will work better
This is the best cleanser I have ever used. I struggle with hormonal acne, and my skin has never been more clear and glowy. My skin looks instantly brighter and spots clear up within a few days. I used this twice a day, along with the peptide pads and anti-aging repair serum.
